          Offer Contract-Based Pricing to a B2B Buyer

          Create a contract to define negotiated prices for a specific buyer account. Contracts override standard price book prices, ensuring buyers see their negotiated prices across store pages.

          Required Editions

          1. Turn on and configure Advanced Pricing for Commerce Powered by Revenue Cloud. For details, see Configure Advanced Pricing for Commerce Powered by Revenue Cloud.
          2. From your store, go to Settings | Store.
          3. Go to the Pricing tab.
          4. Turn on Contract Pricing.
          5. To create a contract, from the App Launcher, search and select Contracts.
          6. Click New.
          7. Enter the contract details.
            1. For Account Name, select the buyer account that receives the negotiated pricing.
            2. Specify a start date for the contract. The contract becomes effective on this date.
            3. Enter the duration of the contract in months. The contract end date is calculated automatically.
          8. Save your changes.
          9. On the contract record page, go to the Related tab.
          10. In Application User Assignments, click New.
          11. Set the application usage type to B2B_Commerce and save the record.
            This assignment links the contract to your B2B store.
          12. In the Related tab, go to Contract Item Prices and click New.
          13. Configure the pricing:
            1. For Item, select Product and select the product for which you want to set a contract price.
              Note
              Note Pricing for categories isn't supported.
            2. Enter the negotiated price per unit.
            3. For Start Date, specify when this price becomes effective. Make sure that the date falls within the contract period.
            4. If pricing applies to only part of the contract period, specify an end date.
          14. Save your changes.
          15. Repeat the previous steps to add more products as needed.
          16. After adding the contract item prices, return to the contract record and click Edit.
          17. Set the status to Activated.
            Prices take effect when you set the status to Activated. Save your changes.
            Note
            Note You can't change the contract status after activation.
          18. Refresh the decision tables to ensure the latest contract pricing data is available.
            1. In Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Lookup Tables, and select Lookup Tables.
            2. Select Contract Pricing Entries and click Refresh. Similarly, refresh Contract Pricing Adjustment Tiers and Contract Pricing Volume Tiers.

          Buyers assigned to the contract see their negotiated prices instead of the standard prices when browsing and purchasing in your store.
