Which Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?

To import prices requires a price book. To import images requires a CMS workspace. To import products and images, we recommend that you use two imports. First import the product, and then import the images. With this approach, you can work with the product data while the image import completes.

If you use the import file to create product variations, create the variation attributes and variation attribute sets before doing the import. If you use the import file to specify an entitlement policy, create the entitlement policy before doing the import.

          1. In the navigation sidebar, select a store from the Store dropdown.
          2. Select Merchandising | Products.
          3. Click Import.
          4. Click Upload Files.
You can optionally download a simple or advanced CSV template file to use as a starting point for your own file.
          5. Navigate to your CSV import file and open it.
          6. Click Import.
          7. Select the catalog, price books, and CMS workspace for the import.
          8. Click Start Import.
Because the import is asynchronous, you can perform other tasks while the import processes. When the import finishes, the Commerce app posts an import completed notification. The Import Summary report shows the import results, including any errors caused by rows or column headings. If you have errors, fix the file, and import it again.
          9. (Optional) Cancel the import.
            1. In the Import Summary, click Cancel.
            2. Confirm the cancellation, and click Cancel Import.
