          Create a Promotion Using the Guided Workflow with Einstein

          Draft a promotion for your B2B store with just a few clicks by using Einstein and Commerce data. Quickly create basic and advanced promotions using natural language instructions and generative AI.

          To use generative AI, first turn on Einstein Generative AI. The EinsteinGPTCommerceAddOn license is also required to create Commerce promotions with Einstein. Contact your Salesforce Admin for help.

          1. In the navigation sidebar, select a store from the Store dropdown.
          2. Select Promotions, and then click Draft with Einstein.
          3. Populate the Einstein instruction box.
            • To create a promotion with pre-selected data, select a promotion template.
            • To add products and categories, click Search for products or categories. Select the products or categories to include, and click Insert.
            • Enter text to describe the promotion.
          4. Click Draft Promotion.
          5. On the New Promotion page, customize the fields as needed.
            1. Select the audience for your promotion.
              If you select Specific Buyer Groups, search for the buyer groups that you want to add. If you don’t select a buyer group, the promotion applies to all the customers in the store.
            2. For Name, enter the internal name for your promotion.
              To localize the display name, see Translation Workbench.
            3. To activate the promotion as soon as you save it, select Active. The promotion isn’t available in your store until you activate it.
              Alternatively, you can save the promotion and activate it later. To improve performance, activate and prioritize only the promotions that you’re using. You can assign up to 50 manual and 50 automatic promotions to a store and its buyer groups.
            4. (Optional) Select whether to exclude qualifying items from a discount.
              For example, if you have a “Buy two shirts, get 50% off pants” promotion, the two shirts that qualify for the promotion aren’t discounted
            5. (Optional) Select whether to make the promotion tiered.
              If you choose to make promotions tiered, you can only add discounts and qualifiers within the promotion tier record page. See Add a Promotion Tier for a B2B Store .
            6. For Display Name, enter a name for customers to see in the cart.
              If you don’t enter a display name, customers don’t know what discount they’re receiving.
            7. (Optional) Select whether to apply an approacing discount to the promotion. Select this optin to send an alert to customers if their cart is approaching a discount. Set a threshold value on the promotion qualifier for whne the message is show to customers.
              Apply approaching discount alerts to promotions that target shipping, shipping rates, or transactions. Only the total transaction can act as a qualifier for promotions with approaching discount alerts.
            8. (Optional) Enter the terms and conditions.
              To localize the terms and conditions, see Translation Workbench.
            9. Add discounts.

              For the target type, select the type of item that you want to apply the discount to. For the target, choose the specific item. Then select the adjustment type. For multicurrency stores, choose the Currency ISO Code. Enter the numeric value corresponding to the adjustment type that you selected.             10. (Optional) Add qualifiers.
              For the qualifier type, select the type of item you want to set specific requirements to. Then, choose the quantifier type. Set a value for the qualifier. See  Choose What Qualifies for a Promotion for a B2B Store from Within the Guided Workflow.
            11. (Optional) Add coupons.

              Enter the coupon code and the associated promotion. Set the status to Active. Enter the redemption limit for all buyers and the redemption limit per buyer. Enter the start and end dates. See  Create a Coupon for a B2B Store from Within the Guided Workflow .

            12. Enter a priority number.
              The priority number determines which promotions apply first. The lower the number, the higher the priority. If you don’t enter a priority number, or if two applied promotions have the same priority, prioritization tiebreaker rules apply. See Prioritizing Promotions.
            13. Select an exclusivity to specify whether a promotion can be combined with other promotions. See Prioritizing Promotions.
            14. To limit the number of times a customer can use the promotion in one cart, enter a value for Maximum Applications Per Cart.
            15. Select a discount order. For example, most expensive or least expensive.
            16. To make sure that discounted items are cheaper than qualifying items, select a discount restriction.
            17. (Optional) Enter the promotion’s start and end dates.
            18. Save your changes.
          6. Verify that the promotion details are correct on the Segments, Tiers, Coupons, Discounts, and Qualifiers.
          7. If you haven’t already activated the promotion, when you’re ready, on the Details tab, click Active.
            When you activate the promotion, it becomes available in your store.
