Deploy PWA Kit Storefronts with the Managed Runtime

The Managed Runtime deploys and operates PWA Kit storefronts so that front-end teams don’t have to worry about the operational cost and complexity of running mission-critical, highly scalable infrastructure. Set up single sign-on for authentication and authorization. Manage project users and permissions, auto-scale environments to handle traffic spikes, and protect against denial-of-service attacks.

Organization Environment Quotas

Customer and Partner organizations in Managed Runtime have a soft quota introduced to limit deployment failures due to resource contention. Customers will start with 100 overall environments, of which 10 can be set as Production environments. Partners will start with 10 overall environments. These soft quotas can be raised via submitting a support case.

When your organization gets close to either quota, a warning is shown when creating or updating environments. When the environment quota is reached, your team can’t create new environments until either the quota is raised or older environments are deleted.

Runtime Admin: Managing Project Users

Adding users to projects in Runtime Admin has been streamlined to prevent common errors. When looking for users to add to a given project, a typeahead search is now available to get a list of users from the current organization to add to a project. Multiple users can now be added at the same time, allowing project admins to add users faster when managing project permissions.

Runtime Admin: Last Used Organization

Runtime Admin will now land you on the organization you last used, saving valuable clicks for customers and partners who are part of multiple organizations.

Regional Access Restrictions

In accordance with US export controls and Salesforce policies highlighted on our trust site, access to Managed Runtime and storefronts deployed to Managed Runtime are restricted for certain regions.
