Share Data Using Order Management File-Based Data Kits

File-based data kits simplify and streamline the deployment and management of data streams between Order Management (OM) and Data 360. Using data kits makes integrating data efficient and automatic.

Select the Salesforce Order Management data kit in the Data Kits section of Data 360 Setup. An Omnichannel Inventory data kit is also available. See Share Data Using Omnichannel Inventory File-Based Data Kits.

To use the data kit, be sure to:

• Provision Data 360 and have the Lightning Order Management Basic add-on license.
• In Order Settings, enable Enhanced Commerce Orders and enable Digital Experiences.
• Enable these system permissions for the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set: Use Order Management Return APIs and Use Order Management Return Order.
• Assign the permission set, Order Management Operations Manager, to the user.

There are two ways to install the data kit. For details, see Update a Data Kit in Data 360.

• From Data Cloud Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Developer Tools, and then select Data Kits.
• From the Data Cloud app, select Data Streams | New | Salesforce CRM. Then, select Next and View Bundles.
