Tip If you’re setting up a D2C store for the first time, bypass this
process and instead let the Commerce Setup Assistant enable and configure Payments
for your org. For more information, see Video: Choose Your
Checkout Solution and Set Up a Commerce
Store.
- From Setup, in the Quick find box, enter Permission Sets, then select it from the menu.
- Click Payments Administrator | Manage Assignments.
- Assign the Payments Administrator permission set to individuals who are responsible for configuring Payments features.
-
Enable registered customers to save and manage their payment methods by
granting them the Authenticated Payer permission set.
If you’re using Salesforce Payments with a B2B or D2C Commerce store, go to Setup | Permission Set Groups and add the Authenticated Payer permission set to the external buyer or shopper group, for example, Commerce_Shopper.
- Go to the Commerce app and select your store.
-
Under Settings, click Store | Buyer Access.
- Assign one or more buyer groups access to the store.
- Enable guest access so any customer can browse and make purchases
- Enable self-registration so customers can create accounts at your store, and then select which user profiles, permission set groups, account types, and buyer groups can self-register.
- If you’re using Payments with B2B Commerce, modify the Login & Registration settings for the store’s existing self-registration page and assign buyers the Authenticated Payer permission.
- Save your changes.
