            Automate Actions Initiated by Payment Events

            Tailor the customer experience by building customized automations that are triggered by payment events. For example, automatically send an email receipt to a customer after a payment is made.

            Required Editions

            View supported editions.

            When a payment is received through a Pay Now payment link or at Commerce store checkout, a payment intent record is created, and it generates a payment platform intent event.

            The sequence of actions from a received payment to the initiation of a platform event.

            Configure flows or Apex triggers that listen to these payment events for the creation, update, or deletion of a payment, a merchant account, a payment link, or a saved payment method.
