Managing Payment Activity from the Payments Workspace
Monitor payment events in one place. Use the Payments workspace to view transaction activity, track the payment source, and capture and refund payments.
To focus on specific transactions, filter the workspace using the default list views. All list views are private, so you see only your version of the list. Updates that you make are visible only to you. You can modify and delete the default views, except All Payments. You can also create your own list views, which are saved under the Custom section.
Many Salesforce products accept payments as part of their business solutions, but each integration is unique. To see which apps are using Payments, each workspace entry lists details, such as the initiating source application, channel, and Salesforce object. You can also access the Payment Initiation Source record. Filter, sort, and take action on a payment record based on these source attributes. Admins of other Salesforce products and partners can also use the workspace to view and manage payment records, control who sees payment records, and run payment reports.
If you don't see the payment initiation source fields in the list view, add them using the list view controls. A list view can have up to 15-columns.
- Add Payment Source Information to the Payment Details Page
As of Spring ’25, you can view the origin of a payment on the payment intent record. If you’ve been using Payments before the Spring ’25 release, you can add the Source section to the record page to capture the information.
