Salesforce Payments Monitoring
You can view payment activity using the Payments Workspace, reports, and event notifications. From the Payments Workspace, view each payment record, and see details such as the payment intent ID, the status, and payment method. To analyze the financial health of your business, use Payments reports. The variety of reports lets people in your company view payment data in the way that's most useful to them. You can customize the reports provided or create your own. Stay informed of Payments operations by subscribing to Payments event notifications.
- Managing Payment Activity from the Payments Workspace
Monitor payment events in one place. Use the Payments workspace to view transaction activity, track the payment source, and capture and refund payments. - Payments Timeline to Track Processing
The payment timeline provides a view of key events that occur during a transaction’s lifecycle. Use it to evaluate your business operations. You can access the timeline from each payment intent record in the Salesforce Payments Workspace. - Capture and Refund Payments from the Payments Workspace
Capture and refund credit card purchases from the Payments workspace, instead of going to the payment gateway's dashboard. For example, you can manually capture payments, or process courtesy refunds outside of the return time frame. The available action is determined by the payment status. You can only take actions on payments processed by Stripe or Adyen. - View Payment Charts from the Payments Home Page
You can customize the Home landing page to display charts that show a snapshot of your payments activity. You can access the entire report directly from the chart. - Generate B2C Payment Records in the Payments Workspace
Centralize all payment activity, including payments from B2C storefronts, in the Payments Workspace. To make B2C payments accessible, create a merchant account in the Payments app that is linked to an existing B2C merchant account associated with Stripe. This account consumes payment data from Stripe and generates payment intents listed in the Payments Workspace. You can distinguish B2C, B2B, or D2C payment intents based on the associated merchant account. - View Financial Activities from Payments Reports
To view payment activity related to your merchant account, Salesforce Payments provides reports. You can examine payment data in various combinations and share financial insights with others. You can choose which reports to display on the Payments app Home page. All reports are localized so that labels show in your org’s language. To automate payment operations, configure notifications for specific payments events. - Customize a Payment Report
You can customize a payment report type or create your own. A report type specifies the records and fields that the report uses. The report displays only the records that meet the criteria defined in the report type. - Payments Event Notifications
To ensure smooth operation, get notified of Payments platform events as a transaction goes through its lifecycle. Events can include payment authorizations, captures, and refunds.
