New Location for Job Files

Starting with 21.10 log files of custom and system jobs are created in WebDAV path /Sites/LOGS/jobs/<job name>/<log file name>.log.

The old location /Sites/IMPEX/log continues to contain log files created before 21.10. Log files from Import, Export, and Batch processes continue to be created in /Sites/IMPEX/log.

How: For most use cases no immediate action is required:

• A new WebDAV permission for the path /Sites/LOGS/jobs is introduced. All user roles and client IDs that were configured to have access to /Sites/IMPEX/log in 21.9 will gain access to the new folder after migration to 21.10.
• Users of the Folder Browser in Business Manager are guided to the new path.
• Custom-built automation that relies on the log_file_name property of the JobExecution document from the Data API 21.8 or lower, to download log files, continues to work.

Before switching to Data API 21.10 adjust automation to use the log_file_path property newly introduced in the JobExecution document instead of log_file_name.
