- Holiday Preparation Database Optimization
As part of the 2022 Holiday preparation, the 22.8 release includes some database optimizations. The optimizations have the potential to cause a one-time increase in migration time during the 22.8 Preview and GA deployments. Some instances see a slightly longer impact during the maintenance window as part of the release deployment. - Get More Storefront Calls
Theapi.dw.net.HTTPClient.sendquota has doubled. You can now make up to 16 storefront calls. The warning threshold has also been increased from 5 to 10. - Access the Change History for Campaigns, Promotions, and Coupons
You can now use the change history feature in Business Manager to identify which campaigns, promotions, and coupons have been created, edited, or deleted on a production instance. - Distinguish Between OCAPI and SCAPI Requests
Use the new method added to thedw.system.Requestobject to identify the SCAPI context. You can now distinguish between OCAPI and SCAPI requests in extension points (hooks). Direct access to the'_sfdc_mercury'header has been deprecated. - Use Customer Import and Export for Salesforce Payments
The Customer object (customer.xsd) now supports import and export of site-specific data about payment customers. The customer data tells the system where to find the payment data. It doesn’t include actual customer payment data. - Verify Host Name Ownership with a TXT Record
When you create a zone and after you upload a custom host name certificate, you’re now required to verify ownership using a TXT record. The verification record is displayed in Business Manager after uploading the certificate. You create a TXT record in your DNS portal.
