Adyen - Buy Now Pay Later
Use Point of Sale (POS) app and Adyen terminals to accept Affirm payments, offering customers a Buy Now, Pay Later option.
Prerequisites:
- Modern POS App Build: 5.12.2 or later
- Platform Support: iPhone & iPad
- Offline Support: yes
- Payment Gateway: Integration with Adyen to accept a payment
During the payment process, the Adyen terminal will present the Affirm QR code if the customer wants to pay later for their purchase. Users will scan the QR code from their personal device and it opens the affirm pay flow in their device's browser.
Configure Payment Methods at Merchant Account level
- Log in to your Adyen console.

Configure Payment at Store and Terminal level
Adyen's support team needs to assist you in enabling payment methods at the store and terminal levels.
Update the Configuration on the Terminal

POS Application Flow
This feature is used by a store associate during checkout if a customer wants to use their QR code wallet app to pay for the items in-store.
Checkout
The associate clicks on the card option on the POS cart screen to complete the checkout. It
initiates the transaction on the Adyen payment terminal and the customer sees a scan button
for them to select the payment methods.
After the user selects the Affirm option, the terminal with present the QR code to start the
payment flow. 
If the user scans the QR code using their device's camera, the device prompts to open the
Affirm link in the browser.
After payment is completed in the device’s browser, the Adyen terminal is updated with
transaction approval and an order is placed.
