Create and assign Point of Sale custom chat layouts to enhance user interaction with
brand specialists to find the right products. Easily edit and test layouts to ensure a seamless
and engaging chat experience for users.
Create a Chat Layout
To create a Chat Layout:
In CMS, go to Layouts | Layout Settings | Chat.
Click CREATE NEW.
Assign a Chat Layout to an App Config
To associate a Chat Layout with an app config:
Click EDIT CONFIG.
Go to ADVANCED | CHAT LAYOUTS.
Select the chat layout name from the dropdown.
Click SAVE.
Edit a Chat Layout
To edit the Chat Layout that is associated with an app config:
Click EDIT CONFIG.
Go to ADVANCED | CHAT LAYOUTS.
Click the Edit icon next to the chat layout name.
Note To view, edit, or create chat layouts go to Layout Pages | Layout Settings | Chat.
Test Changes
After saving changes to the app config or chat layout, the changes are visible after
relaunching the app. To test changes without affecting production, use a test app config that is
linked to a test chat layout.
Save app config or chat layout.
Relaunch app.
Go to the chat screen.
