Configure Line-Level Tax Display on Point of Sale Receipts

Display itemized taxes and regional fees directly beneath individual products on receipts. Configure which tax codes appear as line items to keep receipts clean and relevant.

1. In the Point of Sale CMS, go to Store Management | Store Settings | Tax.
2. In Eligible tax names for line-level receipt display, enter the tax code names that should appear as line items.
   Separate multiple tax names with commas.
   

   Important The tax names you enter must match exactly what your tax service returns.
3. Save your changes.
4. Configure your receipt layouts to include the line-level tax tags.

   Receipt Type	Tags
   Print Receipt	:ps_p_tax_breakout_name :ps_p_tax_breakout_amount
   Email Receipt	{product_tax_breakup_placeholder_start} {product_tax_breakup_name} {product_tax_breakup_amount} {product_tax_breakup_placeholder_end}
