BOFIS Order Workflow in the POS App
Manage BOFIS Orders
The BOFIS order workflow is similar to BOPIS but includes shipping label options. After packing items, associates can scan and attach a pre-printed shipping label or generate a new label using a shipping provider integration (SPI). For more information about shipping labels, see Shipping Labels.
Handle Returns or Exchanges
To prevent inventory discrepancies, associates cannot return unshipped BOFIS items. When an order hasn't been packed or shipped yet, the Return this product toggle is turned off and the app displays the message Item not shipped yet.

Known Issues and Restrictions
- Point of Sale doesn't prevent duplicate shipment creation for the same order item across registers. Because the system doesn't mark fulfillment orders as in progress, multiple associates can process the same item on different devices at the same time. As a result, the POS app can still show an order as Partially Shipped after associates ship it.
