Point of Sale Digital Contracts for Products
Digital Contracts let a customer review and sign a contract on the POS device during a sale. When a product in the cart requires a contract, the customer signs before checkout, and the app saves and delivers a signed PDF for the order.
Use Digital Contracts to require contract signatures for specific products. Map contracts to individual products, such as high-value items or products that require purchase agreements. When a customer adds a mapped product to the cart, the app automatically presents the required contract for signing during checkout.
How Digital Contracts Work
- When a customer adds a product that requires a contract to the cart, the app automatically lists the required contracts.
- The customer reviews and signs each contract on the device.
- The app generates a signed PDF and saves it to the order.
- The app delivers the signed PDF to your configured FTP or SFTP server.
- Associates can reprint the contract from the device.
Requirements
- Shoppers log in to complete orders with Digital Contracts. Digital contracts don't support guest checkout for orders that require a contract.
- Configure an FTP or SFTP server to receive signed contract PDFs.
