Provision Point of Sale on Android and Windows
Before you install Point of Sale on an Android or Windows device, provision your environments and complete prerequisites in Point of Sale CMS.

After you provision your environments, an authorized administrator can give other users in your organization access to Point of Sale CMS.
Prerequisites
Complete these prerequisites before you install and activate Point of Sale on an Android or Windows device:
- Provision the Point of Sale and CMS environments.
- Obtain access to Point of Sale CMS.
- Configure the required stores.
- Configure store associates and permissions.
- Configure registers.
- Create and assign Point of Sale layouts.
- Configure required payment methods and peripherals.
- Obtain access to the Android or Windows application. See Access Point of Sale on Android and Windows.
- Prepare a supported Android or Windows device. See Supported Devices for Point of Sale on Android and Windows.
