Share Data with Snowflake V2

Share Data 360 data with Snowflake using the Snowflake V2 connector. Create a data share target, link data shares, and migrate legacy targets.

Note If you have an existing data share linked to a legacy Snowflake data share target, migrate it to a Snowflake V2 data share target. For more information, see Migrate Data Shares with Legacy Snowflake Data Share Target.

User Permissions Needed
To share data with Snowflake V2:	Data Cloud Architect permission set

Identify the Data 360 objects you want to access and create a data share in Data 360.
For more information, see Create a Data Share.
To establish connectivity with a Snowflake account, create a data share target in Data 360.
For more information, see Create a Snowflake V2 Data Share Target.
To make the Data 360 objects accessible in Snowflake, link the data share with the data share target.
For more information, see Link or Unlink Data Shares and Data Share Targets.
In Snowflake, accept the share and create a database to query shared views.

Create a Snowflake V2 Data Share Target
Create a Snowflake V2 data share target in Data 360 to establish connectivity with a Snowflake account.
Migrate Data Shares with Legacy Snowflake Data Share Target
Move data shares that are linked to a legacy Snowflake data share target to a Snowflake V2 data share target. Verify that data sharing works before you unlink the legacy target.
