Build predictive models quickly by using preconfigured templates in Model Builder.
Templates provide a starting point, including model details, variables, and recommended
algorithms that you configure before model training.
Before you configure a template, complete these setup steps.
Obtain the license for the products that include the predictive template. For example,
the Collections Risk Score template is visible only with a Financial Services Cloud
license.
In Feature Manager, turn on the settings for the template that you want to use.
Template Capabilities
Use templates configured for specific business scenarios to reduce setup time and analyze
the features that matter most to your business.
Specific use cases: Templates are available only for specific use cases.
Flexible customization: Customize any step of the template during the setup flow
to align with your organization's goals.
Algorithmic optimization: Templates automatically recommend the optimal algorithm
for your use case, eliminating the need for complex mathematical adjustments.
Unified review: The summary page displays all your configured settings before you
start model training.
Available Templates
Model Builder provides these preconfigured templates.
Collections Risk Score: Predicts customer payment risk. This template is visible
only with a Financial Services Cloud license.
Propensity to Buy (Beta): Predicts which customers are most likely to purchase a
product within a specified time frame.
Fundraising (Pilot): Predicts donor behaviors and fundraising outcomes based on
historical engagement.
Propensity to Buy Template (Beta) The Propensity to Buy template establishes a starting point for predicting which customer will buy a product or product category within a particular time frame. The template preconfigures model details, prediction inputs, and selects an algorithm. To align the model with your data, customize default variables and set a prediction window—the number of days used to calculate the purchase likelihood. After model training, Model Builder generates purchase likelihood scores on your records so you can identify high-value customer segments and drive targeted marketing campaigns.
