Create a scratch org to use Data 360 configurations in your development workflow. A
scratch org is a temporary, source-driven Salesforce environment tailored for developing and
testing specific features. This step enables Data 360 and related features in your scratch org.
Use it to build and validate your configurations without affecting your production org or
sandboxes.
Use CustomerDataPlatformLite instead of
CustomerDataPlatform if your Dev Hub has a Data 360 Lite license.
Create the scratch org.
sf org create scratch --target-dev-hub MyHub --definition-file config/project-scratch-def.json --alias data-360-scratch
Open the scratch org, go to Setup, and search for
Data Cloud Setup to confirm that Salesforce completed
provisioning.
sf org open --target-org data-360-scratch
If Data Cloud Setup doesn't appear, wait a few minutes and refresh the page. Salesforce
can continue provisioning Data 360 after it creates the scratch org.
