Deactivate or Delete Data Q&A Agent
Control whether the Data 360 Data Q&A Agent is active and accessible in your org, or remove it entirely.
You can control the agent's availability in two ways:
- Deactivate: Temporarily stop your users from accessing the agent. Salesforce preserves the agent's configuration, prompt templates, and settings so you can reactivate them later. Deactivation is immediate.
- Delete: Permanently delete the agent from your org. You can't undo this action. Deleting the agent also deletes its configuration and any customizations made in Agentforce Builder. Salesforce doesn't delete semantic enrichments; it stores them separately so they remain available if you re-enable the feature.
Deactivate the Agent
Deactivating the agent prevents users from accessing it while preserving all configuration.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Agentforce Agents, and select Agentforce Agents.
- Find Data 360 Data Q&A Agent in the list and click its name to open it.
- Click Deactivate in the top toolbar.
- Confirm the deactivation when prompted.
The agent is no longer accessible to users, but its configuration is preserved. You can reactivate it at any time by opening the agent and clicking Activate.
Delete the Agent
Deleting the agent permanently removes it from your org. This action cannot be undone.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Feature Manager, and disable Data 360 Data Q&A Agent. Agentforce Agents.
The agent is permanently removed from your org.
Metadata Knowledge Graph and Semantic Enrichments
Even if you deactivate or delete the agent, Metadata Knowledge Graph and Semantic Enrichments continues to run every 2 hours (when metadata changes are detected) and consumes Flex Credits. To disable indexing, navigate to Feature Manager and disable Metadata Knowledge Graph and Semantic Enrichments.
