Enable Data 360 Data Q&A Agent
Turn on the Data 360 Data Q&A Agent and Metadata Knowledge Graph and Semantic Enrichments features to start asking natural language questions about your data.
Required Editions

Before you enable the Data 360 Data Q&A Agent:
- Turn on Einstein in the Generative AI Einstein Setup.
- Enable Agentforce in Agent Studio.
- Understand that enabling this feature in production environments affects all users with appropriate permissions. Consider testing in a sandbox environment first if your org has Data 360 sandbox capabilities.
The Data 360 Data Q&A Agent has two required features that work together:
- Data 360 Data Q&A Agent: Automatically provisions an agent in the Legacy Agentforce Builder that answers natural language questions about your Data 360 data.
- Metadata Knowledge Graph and Semantic Enrichments: Indexes your data's schema, relationships, sample values, and descriptions when metadata changes are detected every 2 hours. This index helps the agent understand your data structure.
Important Both features consume Flex Credits when invoked. Monitor your credit
consumption in Setup under Flex Credits Usage. Credit consumption varies based on query
complexity, data volume, and indexing frequency.
Enable the Feature
You must have the Manage Data 360 Features permission to enable this feature.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Feature Manager, and select Feature Manager.
- Find Metadata Knowledge Graph and Semantic Enrichments and click Enable.
- Find Data 360 Data Q&A Agent and click Enable.
Verify that both Data 360 Data Q&A Agent and Metadata Knowledge Graph and Semantic Enrichments appear as enabled in the feature list. Initial indexing begins automatically after enablement. Subsequent re-indexing occurs every 2 hours only if the schema has changed since the last indexing.
