Limitations and Key Considerations
Review these limitations before you use Simple Start:
- Availability limit: Data 360 limits Simple Start exclusively to new orgs provisioned starting in July 2026. Existing organizations don’t receive access to this automated configuration tool.
- Connection limit: The automated setup operates only from your home org connection. It doesn’t support companion orgs.
- Data space limit: Simple Start creates all auto-synced components such as data lake objects (DLOs), data streams, and mappings only in the default data space.
- Object support: Data 360 automates setup for a designated list of standard CRM
objects from your home org, such as
AccountandContact. It doesn’t support all standard objects, custom objects, or non-CRM objects. See Data 360 Simple Start Guide. - Bundle field exclusions: Simple Start provisions standard data bundles that omit mappings for CreatedBy, Created Date, and Last Modified Date.
