With a segment open on the segment canvas, the Data 360 Marketing Agent adds filters to
that segment instead of creating a new one. Work on the canvas whenever you can. The canvas
gives you better feedback and lets you validate the segment as the agent builds it.
Stay on the segment canvas for the whole conversation. Don’t go back to the Segments page
or open a different segment while the agent is working.
Open the segment on the segment canvas and click the Agentforce icon in the global
header.
If the panel opens on a different agent, select Data 360 Marketing
Agent from the menu next to the agent name. To keep the panel open while you
work in the canvas, click the pin icon in the panel header.
Describe the filter you want to add.
For example: Add a filter for customers who visited the pricing page last week.
Review the filter in the agent’s response and on the canvas.
The agent shows what it built, for example Filter: Gender Identity equals male.
If the agent returns an Add filters button in the Agentforce
panel, click it to apply the filter.
Your canvas doesn’t change until you do.
Save the segment.
The agent doesn’t save for you.
New filters are reconciled with the criteria already on your canvas. Review the canvas
before you publish or activate. See Review What the Agent Built in
Build a Segment by Describing It.
