          Simple Start in Data 360

Streamline your initial Data 360 setup with Simple Start. Bypass manual bundle configuration and field mapping by syncing metadata and creating standardized data structures for your Salesforce CRM data in minutes. Because the system initially syncs only metadata, you consume credits only after activating related data streams and downstream processes.

          Required Editions

Available in: All Editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.

          Key Benefits

          • Automated setup: The platform automatically creates CRM data streams and data lake objects (DLOs) based on your connected home Salesforce org's metadata.
          • Review before ingestion: Simple Start creates data streams in an inactive state, so you can review your schema before ingestion begins.

          Metadata Sync

Data 360 requires a home org connection to perform the metadata sync. This sync process automatically creates the necessary data streams, data lake objects (DLOs), and data model object (DMO) mappings. Data 360 adds the metadata directly to the schema, so you avoid installing standard bundles or packages.

Simple Start automatically performs these actions:

          • Creates data streams in an inactive status to prevent immediate credit consumption.
          • Generates standard mappings for Salesforce standard objects. See Data 360 DMO Mapping Guide.
