Update Database Configuration for Zero Copy Data Streams

When deploying a data kit that contains zero copy data streams, you can update the target database, schema, or table after deployment to match your target environment.

Required Editions

This allows you to promote configurations across environments (sandbox to production) where each environment points to different schemas or tables without recreating the data stream.

In Data 360, go to the Data Streams tab.
Next to the deployed zero copy data stream, from the dropdown, select Edit Data Stream.
In the Database Configuration section, update the Target Database, Schema, and Table to match your environment.
Click Save.

Data 360 validates that the new target has the same schema definition as the original. If the schema differs, the operation fails.
