          Enable Features Setting in the CMT Administration Tab

          Use Enable Features to activate or deactivate modular functionality like CPQ engines and pricing logic. Also, the setting lets you safely opt in to new release capabilities and behavioral overrides, preventing package updates from unexpectedly disrupting your existing customizations.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Classic and Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Edition.

          Here are the different settings for the Enable Feature setting:

          • Standard Salesforce libraries and cache with the CPQ Cart-Based APIs: Use cart-based APIs to access and manipulate quote, order, and cart data in the Industries CPQ cart. Enable these APIs to improve performance. Leverage standard Salesforce objects for better efficiency. for more details, see Standard Cart APIs.
          • Standard Digital Commerce APIs: Standard Digital Commerce improves the performance and scalability of the existing Digital Commerce APIs. For more details, Standard Digital Commerce.
          • Cost and Margin: Enable the cost and margin feature on the existing quotes, opportunities, and orders. For more details, see Defining Costs and Margin.
          • Usage Pricing: Enable usage pricing and configure the pricing element for charges and costs. For more details, see Configure Usage Pricing.
          • Future Dated Order Queue: Create a Future-Dated Order (FDO) to create an order today but provision it in the future. For more details, see Future Dated Orders for CPQ Queuing.
          • V2 Attribute Model: For more details on this model, refer to Attribute Model Upgrade.
          • EPC Project: Manage the lifecycle status of EPC Projects, move changes within EPC Projects, review the changes in a Project, remove changes from a Project, change Project owners, and remove projects. For more details, see EPC Project Management.
          • Salesforce Pricing: Enable the setting to use Salesforce Pricing Feature. For more details, see Princing Designer.
          • Versioning: Create and configure a product, Vlocity picklist, or Vlocity object type to track any changes. For more details, see Product Versioning.

          • Enable Mixed Mode for Standard Cart APIs
            Use the Mixed Mode setting to selectively enable high-performance Standard APIs for specific functions. Keep complex, custom workflows in Classic mode. Accelerate adoption with lower risk. Based on high user usage, we've grouped the three most popular Cart APIs such as getCartsProducts, getCartsItems, and getCartsItemsById together.
