Prepare Data 360 Data Model Objects for Actionable Lists
Make sure that a data model object (DMO) with the data you want is available in Data 360 and ready to use. The data can come from a single source or be combined from multiple sources.

Before you prepare a data model object, make sure that Data 360 is connected to your Salesforce org. For more information, see Connect Data 360 to Your Salesforce Org.
How you prepare the DMO depends on where your data lives. If the data you want to filter on is already in a single source, verify the data lake object and map it to a DMO. If your data spans multiple sources, combine them with a batch data transform that writes to a DMO. The mapping and primary key are set differently in each path, so follow only the path that matches your data. Both paths result in a DMO that's ready for actionable lists.
-
If your data is already in a single source, verify the data lake object and map it to a
DMO.
-
In Data 360, go to Data Lake Objects, select the data lake
object that contains your data, and verify that the records and the fields you want to
filter on are present, including a field that contains the Salesforce Account ID.
Tip If records aren't present, verify your data stream configuration and run a manual refresh. -
Go to Data Model Objects, and select an existing data model
object or create a custom one that maps to your data lake object.
To create a custom DMO, see Create a Custom Data Model Object.
- Verify that your data lake object is mapped to the DMO and that the field containing the Salesforce Account ID is designated as the primary key.

-
If you want to combine data from multiple sources, build the DMO with a batch data
transform.
-
Make sure that each data source is ingested into Data 360 as a data lake object.
For more information, see Prepare and Model Data.
-
Create a batch data transform to combine your sources. Filter records, join on a
shared key such as the Salesforce Account ID, aggregate values, and calculate new
fields.
For more information, see Batch Data Transforms and Transformations in Batch Data Transforms.
-
Configure the transform's output node to write the results to a data model object.
The output node sets the field mapping and the primary key, so no additional DMO mapping
is needed.
For more information, see Output Node for a Data Model Object.
-
Make sure that each data source is ingested into Data 360 as a data lake object.
Next, turn on the Actionable List with Data 360 data model objects setting in Setup.
