Assign Permission Sets for Actionable Segmentation
Give users access to use the Actionable Segmentation feature by assigning permission sets.
Required Editions
| Available in: Lightning Experience |
| Available in: Clouds that have Industry Sales Excellence and Query for Datapipelines User licenses |
Add permissions in the Actionable Segmentation permission set:
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then click Permission Sets.
- Click Actionable Segmentation.
- Click the System Permissions link.
- Click Edit.

Select the following permissions:
- Actionable Segmentation Admin
- Actionable Segmentation List Manager
- Actionable Segmentation Objects
- Actionable Segmentation Engagement
- Save your changes.
Assign the Permission Set
Based on these user persona, assign permission sets for your users.
| User Persona | User Action | Permission Set |
|---|---|---|
| Admin | Create and activate actionable list definitions |
|
| Sales or service executives | Create and configure actionable lists |
|
| Sales or service agents | Engage with prospects | Actionable Segmentation |
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users.
- Click a user’s name.
- Under Permission Set Assignments, click Edit Assignments.
- Save your changes.
