Enable Actionable Segmentation

To create and view actionable list definitions and lists, enable the Actionable Segmentation feature in Setup. After enabling this feature, you can create and activate actionable list definitions, and create actionable lists using these list definitions.

Available in: Clouds that have Industry Sales Excellence and Query for Datapipelines User licenses

To enable Actionable Segmentation:

Data Pipelines Base User

Before enabling Actionable Segmentation, ensure that you enable Data Pipelines, and assign the Actionable Segmentation, Data Pipelines Base User, and Query for Datapipelines User permission sets.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Pipelines, and then select Get Started. To find Data Pipelines in Setup, the Data Pipelines Base User permission set must be assigned to you.
  2. Enable Data Pipelines.
  3. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Actionable Segmentation, and then select Actionable Segmentation Settings.
  4. Enable Actionable Segmentation.
    When you enable Actionable Segmentation in Setup, an auto-installed app creation request is triggered and a CRMA application is created for Actionable Segmentation. This application provides the shared folder to save datasets associated with list definitions.
  5. To view the auto-installed application for Actionable Segmentation, follow these steps:
    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Auto-Installed, and then select Auto-Installed Apps.
    2. Click the Apps tab. You can view the application created for Actionable Segmentation here.

Important Create the Actionable Segmentation application only using Auto-Installed Apps and not manually.
