          Actionable Segmentation Limits and Considerations

While creating actionable list definitions and actionable lists, keep the limits and limitations in mind.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Clouds that have Industry Sales Excellence and Query for Datapipelines User licenses

          Limits

When creating actionable lists, stay within these Salesforce org limits.

          • An actionable list can have up to 10 columns.
          • When creating an actionable list, you can select up to 10,000 records at a time using the bulk select option in the list builder.
          • If an existing actionable list already contains 2000 or more members, you can’t add more members to the list.
          • By default, a Salesforce org can have up to 10,000 actionable lists. You can request a limit increase for lists created from list definitions by contacting your Salesforce account executive. However, this increase doesn't apply to lists created from Data 360 segments.
          • When creating an actionable list, you can manually select up to 200 records at a time in the list builder.
          • When creating filters on the List builder page, if the filter input format is multi-select picklist, these limits apply:
            • List creators can select up to five distinct values in a filter condition.
            • The multi-select picklist format can list up to 1000 distinct values. If the count of distinct values exceeds 1000, the filter input format resets to text.
            • The multi-select picklist format leverages API calls enabled by the Query for Datapipelines User permission set, which has a monthly API call limit per Salesforce org. Exercise caution when using the multi-select picklist format.

          Considerations

When creating or updating actionable lists, review these considerations.

          • To create an actionable list, your product license must contain the Query for Datapipelines User permission set. This permission retrieves records from the dataset through API calls. However, the permission has a monthly limit of 2,500 API calls per Salesforce org.
          • List creators must run the List Member Count API to get the latest count of list members if these members are added to the list through APEX code or Connect API.

          • Every action that retrieves or refreshes data fro your CRM Analytics dataset consumes API calls. This includes opening the list builder, applying filters, an searching for records.
          • If your usage requires more than 2,500 API calls per month, you can increase your limits by purchasing the Data Pipelines Add-on.
          • The names of the fields you see in the actionable list definition search filters and columns are determined by the API names configured in your Data Processing Engine (DPE) writeback. To change the display name of a field, you must modify the corresponding writeback field in your DPE.
