Example: Add the Flow to the Contact Record Page and Run the Flow
To enter the step count for a contact from the contact’s record page, and pass the
contact’s record ID to the flow from the same page, add a flow component to the Contact Record
Page.
Required Editions
User Permissions Needed
To modify a record page using the Lightning App Builder:
Customize Application
Open the record page of a contact, and select Related.
From Setup, select Edit Page.
The record page opens in Lightning App Builder.
From Components, drag Flow to an empty component on the page.
Configure the component.
For Flow, search for and select Calculate Discounted Gym
Fees.
Save and activate your changes.
To verify that the flow is added to the contact page, return to the Related tab of a
contact record.
To verify that the flow is triggered and updates the Gym Fees field on the record, in the
flow, for Step Count, enter 51000.
The Gym Fees field is populated with the discounted fees from the expression set’s
output that’s returned to the flow.
