Save and Resume a License or Permit Application

Return to an application that you started earlier and continue from where you paused, without entering information again.

Required Editions

View supported product editions.
User Permissions Needed
To resume an application on the portal: Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections for Community User

To stop work on an application without submitting it, select Pause.

  1. Log in to the Applicant Portal.
  2. From My Dashboard, select View License and Permit Status.
  3. Select the tab that lists your draft applications, and then open the application that you paused.
  4. Continue the application.
    The application opens at the last step that you completed.
  5. If a reviewer returned the application to you, open it from the tab that lists your returned applications, and then select Edit Application.
    The application opens with the information that you entered, so you can correct it and resubmit it.

An application that you haven't submitted has no stage yet, and the portal holds your answers until you return. Submitting the application sets its stage.
