Customize the claim fields that providers see, and use Unstructured Document Processing
to extract information from uploaded invoices. Configure the Service Provider Portal so that
providers can create claims for delivered services.
Claim submission enables authenticated providers to create claims for eligible services
delivered to constituents. Providers select the services they delivered and enter claim and
payment information. When applicable, they upload invoices. They then review their claims
and submit them to the agency.
Salesforce admins can customize the fields shown during claim creation. Providers see only
fields included in the configured field set that they have permission to access.
Agencies can also configure Unstructured Document Processing to extract supported claim and
line-item information from uploaded invoices. Invoice extraction is optional. If you don't
configure Unstructured Document Processing, providers enter the required information
manually. See Configure Invoice Extraction for Claim Submission,
which uses Unstructred Document Processing.
Claims Submission Setup Before providers can submit claims in the Service Provider Portal, admins can complete the required setup steps. Enable the prerequisites, customize which claim fields providers see and in what order, and optionally configure automatic invoice data extraction.
Submit Claims in the Service Provider Portal Create and submit claims for authorized services delivered to constituents. In the Service Provider Portal, select delivered services, provide claim and payment information, upload invoices, review your claims, and save unfinished work as a draft.
Track Authorized Service Delivery Track service deliveries against their authorizations, and find the ones still waiting to be claimed in the Service Provider Portal.
