Create and submit claims for authorized services delivered to constituents. In the
Service Provider Portal, select delivered services, provide claim and payment information,
upload invoices, review your claims, and save unfinished work as a draft.
A claim is a request for payment for a service that you delivered to a constituent. You
start a claim by selecting an eligible delivered service in the Service Provider Portal. The
fields and options that you see depend on your agency's configuration.
During claim submission, you can:
Select one or more eligible delivered services.
Enter claim and payment information.
Upload an invoice when required by your agency.
Review information extracted from an invoice when your agency uses Unstructured Document
Processing. See Configure Invoice Extraction for Claim Submission,
which uses Unstructred Document Processing.
Review each claim before submitting it.
Save unfinished claims as drafts and return to them later.
Only eligible delivered unclaimed services are available for new claims. When you select
multiple unclaimed services, the portal creates claims based on the selected services and
organizes them by constituent.
Payment Instruments
A payment instrument identifies how you receive payment. The payment instruments available
during claim submission are associated with your provider account.
Create and Submit Claims Create claims for one or more eligible delivered services and submit them to your agency.
Work with Draft Claims Save a claim as a draft when you aren't ready to submit it. A draft retains the claim information that you saved so that you can reopen the claim, finish it, and submit it later.
Review Submitted Claims Track submitted claims and review the claim information, including each claim’s current status.
