Set Up a Search Index for Amazon S3 Files

Choose Amazon Bedrock or Amazon Kendra to index files in the Amazon S3 bucket connected to your Salesforce org.

A search index makes your Amazon S3 file content searchable by meaning. Configure one supported search service for each active External Storage Search configuration.

• Amazon Bedrock: Use an Amazon Bedrock knowledge base with the connected S3 bucket as its data source.
