Outbound Payments Prerequisites
Enable settings, turn on related features, and assign permissions before you configure outbound payments.
Required Editions
Enable Outbound Payment Settings
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Outbound Payments, and then select Outbound Payment Settings.
Turn on Provide access to Outbound Payments in Public Sector Solutions.
Enable Program and Benefit Management

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Benefit, and then select Program and Benefit Management Settings.
- Turn on Create and manage your programs, benefits, and goals.
- Select Benefit Disbursement Settings, and then turn on Create and manage benefit disbursements.
Assign Permissions

Assign these permission sets to users who work with outbound payments.
- For internal users, assign the Outbound Payment Access for Public Sector permission set and the Benefit Disbursement permission set. These permission sets grant read access to outbound payment objects.
- For community users, assign the Outbound Payment Access for Public Sector Solutions in Experience Cloud permission set.
Then enable field-level security for these fields.
