Stage Management simplifies complex business processes. Define stage transition criteria, and create a transition plan for each stage of a workflow. Control stage transitions in parent objects based on child object criteria, and model-dependent business processes. Your users see record stage progress in the Record Stage Overview Lightning web component.
For example, in Public Sector, use Stage Management for the Application Form Evaluation object to guide grant applicants, reviewers, and recipients through the grant process. Within those stages, you can define movement through the application form with entry and exit criteria. Add manual and autolaunched flow actions during transitions to automatically alert users of important information. For example, when an applicant moves from Draft to Submitted status and needs to be notified when a review has been shared. Or restrict applicants from skipping stages when certain approval criteria aren’t met.
