Capture your customer’s interests and preferences with interest tags. Ensure that
everyone in your company uses a common interest tag dictionary and records are consistently tagged
with terms from that global repository. Add the Interest Tags component to Lead, Opportunity, or
Vehicle pages so that users working on these pages can easily add the relevant tags to a record
during customer interactions.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions.
For example, sales personnel working on leads can use Interest Tags to quickly capture
information about the potential customer. If the customer is interested in off-road driving, or
they prefer matte colors, sales reps can quickly browse the relevant tag categories and either
select an existing tag or create a tag.
Or, service agents referring to Vehicle records can browse tags related to maintenance history,
type of repairs done, and type of issues frequently observed. Tagging vehicle records with
relevant information can help other agents or sales managers looking at the vehicle’s
performance.
A sales relationship manager at a dealership can also use interest tags on Account or Contact
records to tag customers with their hobbies or key characteristics. Tagging makes it easy for all
users who share records and can quickly gather common information.
