Assign Connected Vehicle Service Processes to Catalog Categories
Group the service process products in your service catalog. Create catalog categories
for service process products based on the service agent groups that the products are relevant for.
Organize your service processes by assigning them to catalog categories.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To assign service processes to catalog categories:
Product Catalog Management Designer
From the App Launcher, find and select Product Catalog
Management.
Click Catalogs.
On the catalogs list view page, click
ServiceProcessesProductsCatalog.
Click Categories.
Click Create Category.
For name, enter Customer Engagement.
Enter a description.
Save your changes.
Similarly, create a category with the name Emergency Assistance to
group service processes such as Remote Door Lock and Unlock and Remote Ignition Control.
From the App Launcher, find and select Product Catalog
Management.
Click Catalogs.
On the catalogs list view page, select
ServiceProcessesProductsCatalog.
Click Categories.
In the Categories section, click Customer Engagement.
On the Category page, click Related.
In the Products section, click Assign Products.
Find and select the Remote Notifications and Alerts service process
product.
Click Next.
Save your changes.
Repeat steps 11–16 to assign the Remote Door Lock and Unlock and Remote Ignition Control
service process products to the Emergency Assistance category.
