          Create Participant Roles and Groups for Vehicle and Asset Lending

          Create participant roles for the Application Form, Application Form Product, and Party Profile objects. Add users with similar job roles to a participant group. When Compliant Data Sharing is enabled for objects, users in a specific participant group are provided equal level of access to the records. When you add users to Application Form, Application Form Product, and Party Profile records, you can map the required participant role to a participant group.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create participant groups: Configure Compliant Data Sharing user permission
          To create participant roles: Configure Compliant Data Sharing user permission

          Enable Compliant Data Sharing in your org for the Application Form, Application Form Product, and Party Profile objects for CRM users and Experience Cloud users.

          1. Create participant groups.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Participant Groups, and then select Participant Groups.
            2. Click New.
            3. Enter Agent_Group as the name.
            4. Enter Agent_Group as the developer name.
            5. Save your changes.
            6. Similarly, create the Underwriter_Group participant group.
          2. Add members to the groups.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Participant Groups, and then select Participant Groups.
            2. Click a group you created.
            3. Click Add Member.
            4. For User or Group, select People, and enter the name of the user that you want to add as an agent or an underwriter.
            5. Save your changes.
            6. Similarly, add other members to the participant group.
          3. Create participant roles for Application Form.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Participant Roles, and then select Participant Roles.
            2. Click New and create a record based on each of the rows in the table.

            3. Save your changes.
          4. Create participant roles for Application Form Product.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Participant Roles, and then select Participant Roles.
            2. Click New and create a record based on each of the rows in the table.

            3. Save your changes.
          5. Create participant roles for Party Profile.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Participant Roles, and then select Participant Roles.
            2. Click New and create a record based on each of the rows in the table.
