Prepare Your Org

Provision the required licenses, turn on warranty and generative AI settings, and create sample claims that adjudicators can work through.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Agentforce for Automotive add-on or included in Agentforce 1 Automotive Edition. Requires each user to have the Agentforce for Automotive add-on to access the action.

Make sure your org is provisioned with these licenses.

  • EinsteinForAutomotiveAddOn

  • WarrantyLifecycleMgmtAddOn

  • UniversalCreditMetering

  • AgentforceEmployeeAgentAddOn

Make sure these features are enabled.

  • Setup> Feature Settings> Automotive Settings> Automotive

  • Setup> Feature Settings> Automotive Generative AI

  • Setup> Feature Settings> Automotive Generative AI> Automotive Agents

  • Setup> Feature Settings> Manufacturing> Warranty Lifecycle Management

  1. Create account records for the customers whose claims adjudicators review.
  2. Set up asset records for those customers.
  3. Set up warranty term records. The agent uses warranty terms to check expiry.
  4. Set up asset warranty records to associate warranty terms and assets.
  5. Set up Claim, Claim Item, Claim Coverage, and Claim Coverage Payment Detail records.
  6. Assign claims to different users so that you have an adjudication queue, and create claim history records as you process those assignments.
  7. Set up Warranty Lifecycle Management in Automotive Cloud.
