Create a Searchable Object Configuration for Vehicle Definition Search
To define how data is updated in the Vehicle Definition Searchable Field object, which
is used as the basis of vehicle definition search, create a searchable object configuration. To
create and update Vehicle Definition Searchable Field records, select the Data Processing Engine
definition that transforms data from multiple source objects.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer
Editions
User Permissions Needed
To create a searchable object configuration:
View Setup and Configuration
Enable the Criteria-Based Search and Filter feature in your org.
From Setup, enter Criteria in the Quick Find box, then select
Criteria-Based Search and Filter.
On the Searchable Object Configuration tab, click New.
Enter a name for the configuration.
The API Name field is automatically populated.
For Searchable Object, search for and select Vehicle Definition Searchable
Field.
Enter a description.
For Data Synchronization Job, search for and select a Data Processing Engine
definition.
Activate the definition when you clone the Update Vehicle Definition Searchable Field
Values template so that you can select it.
