Use the Vehicle Telematics Event telematics data model object in Data Cloud to store data
about the critical, non-critical, or actionable events triggered by sensors in a vehicle. In
addition to the fields available on the Asset Telematics Event object, the Vehicle Telematics
Event telematics data model object contains vehicle-specific fields such as odometer reading,
cruise status, and ignition status.

Vehicle Telematics Event ID
ID of the telematics event related to a vehicle.
Latitude
Latitude of the vehicle's location when the telematics event is generated.
Longitude
Longitude of the vehicle's location when the telematics event is generated.
Odometer Reading
Odometer reading of the vehicle when the telematics event is generated.
Odometer Reading Unit of Measure
Unit of measure for the vehicle's odometer reading.
Engine Revolutions per Minute (RPM)
Vehicle's RPM when the telematics event is generated.
Cruise Control Status
Cruise control status of the vehicle when the telematics event is generated.
Ignition Status
Ignition status of the vehicle when the telematics event is generated.
Speed
Speed of the vehicle when the telematics event is generated.
Triggered Date
Date when the telematics event is triggered for the vehicle.
Sent Date
Date when the telematics event is sent to Data Cloud for an asset.
Speed Unit of Measure
Unit of measure for the vehicle's speed.
Acceleration
Acceleration of the vehicle when the telematics event is generated.
Acceleration Unit of Measure
Unit of measure for the vehicle's acceleration.
Vehicle ID
ID of the vehicle that the telematics event is generated for.
Telematics Event ID
ID of the telematics event related to an asset.
Telematics Provider
ID of the telematics provider that generated the event related to the asset.
Asset Unique Identifier
Unique identifier of the asset such as the serial number or vehicle identification
number.
Event Category
Category of the telematics event generated for the asset, such as vehicle
malfunctions.
Event Type
Type of the telematics event generated for the asset, such as engine issues.
Event Sub Type
Subtype of the telematics event generated for the asset, such as engine
overheating.
Priority
Priority of the telematics event generated for the asset.
Asset ID
ID of the asset that the telematics event was generated for.
