The billing start month indicates the month when billing begins for an annual subscription. For example, if billing starts in January, the value is 1; if billing starts in June, the value is 6.

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Revenue Cloud Advanced license or the Revenue Cloud Billing license

Eligibility Conditions for Updating Billing Start Month

The billing day of month can be updated only if these conditions are met:

The billing term unit of the billing schedule group must be Semi-Annual or Quarter.
The billing method of the billing schedule group can't be Usage.
