Business Element

Business elements perform the action that’s defined in the element. Each business element can have a specific purpose based on your cloud’s use cases. If a business element is available in your Salesforce org and is specific to the usage type of your expression set, then you can use it as a step in your expression set version.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions for clouds that have Business Rules Engine enabled
Note
Note You can’t create business elements or customize the ones available in your Salesforce org. When business elements are available in your Salesforce org, you see them in the Elements panel in Expression Set Builder with the other step elements.
Tip
Tip If you use a business element in an aggregate group, then pass the output of the aggregate step in the group as input to the business element.
