          Considerations for Migrating Decision Tables

Before you plan to migrate a decision table from a source org to a target org, review the migration considerations.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions for clouds that have Business Rules Engine enabled
          Important
Important If you use custom fields in your decision table, you can’t migrate the table from one Salesforce org to another using Package Manager in a single step.
          Note
Note Before deploying changes to the metadata of a decision table in an org where the decision table already exists, you must deactivate the decision table in the target org. Ensure that you use separate deployment steps to remove a decision table parameter, and activate the decision table.
          Note
Note After you upload a CSV file to a CSV-based decision table in the target org, you can't deploy changes to the metadata of that decision table.

Here’s how you can migrate decision tables that use custom fields:

          • First, migrate the custom fields in your decision table to the target org by using Package Manager.
          • Next, verify that the custom fields are present in the target org.
          • Finally, migrate the decision table by using Package Manager.
