To meet evolving business requirements, you can add, update, or remove decision table rows. If you update the object or the custom metadata type that contains the row data, refresh the decision table to ensure that the outcomes are based on the latest data.

By default, the first time you activate a decision table, it triggers a full refresh, updating all rows with the latest data from sObject records. Subsequent refreshes are handled automatically by Business Rules Engine, which determines whether an incremental or a full refresh is required. Multiple decision tables can be refreshed simultaneously.
An Incremental Refresh updates only the rows affected by changes to the source sObject data, typically completing faster than a full refresh. If the volume of changes is too large or the incremental refresh fails, the system automatically falls back to a full refresh. For more information, see the Decision Table Refresh Action.
When the refresh is completed, the Refresh Status is updated. An incremental refresh updates the Last Incremental Refresh Date, and a full refresh updates the Last Refreshed Date.
