Extract Compliance Clauses

To extract the clauses and other information, such as reference links, and descriptions, upload the regulation or policy document PDF.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Automotive Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, Education Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Government Cloud with Lightning Scheduler, Health Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions View editions availability.
User Permissions Needed
To configure Process Compliance Navigator: Compliance Admin permission set
To create and manage prompt templates in Prompt Builder:

Prompt Template Manager permission

AND

Execute Prompt Templates permission
To use Natural Language Processing: NLP Service permission set
To use Scoring Framework: Scoring Framework Admin permission set
To run flows: Run Flows permission

Identify and extract clauses from a PDF. Initiate multiple extractions simultaneously. The in-app notification shows the success or failure of the extraction and when the system adds the extracted clause to the clause library.

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Process Compliance Navigator.
  2. Extract Compliance Clauses for Regulation Versions.
    1. From the navigation bar, select Regulation Version.
    2. Select a regulation version.
    3. Click Extract Clauses.
    4. Click Upload Files, select the file, and then click Done.
    5. Preview the file, and then click Submit.
    6. When you submit a file for extraction, a disclaimer message for Generative AI appears. Click Got it.
  3. Extract Compliance Clauses for Compliance Policy Versions.
    1. From the navigation bar, select Compliance Policy Version.
    2. Select a compliance policy version.
    3. Click Extract Clauses.
    4. Click Upload Files, select the file, and then click Done.
    5. Preview the file, and then click Submit.
    6. When you submit a file for extraction, a disclaimer message for Generative AI appears. Click Got it.

The extraction continues as a background process. Review the extracted clauses on the Regulation Version Document Extract Request and Compliance Policy Version Document Extract Request related lists.
