Publish a Compliance Policy Version and a Compliance Policy Clause
Version
Clearly communicate updated compliance standards to all employees and stakeholders by
publishing compliance policy versions and their associated clause versions. Reduce the risk of
penalties and allow your company to quickly adapt its operations to meet new regulatory
requirements.
If there’s already a published compliance policy clause version mapped to the compliance
policy version in the draft state, you can’t publish the compliance policy version record as it
can only have one published compliance policy clause version associated with each compliance
policy clause at a time. Multiple published clause versions for the same clause within a single
compliance policy version can't exist. To publish the draft, set the published clause version
to Draft. Alternatively, if no active clause versions exist, update the clause version to
Active, save, and then set it to Retired. Try publishing again.
Updating a compliance policy version's status from Published to Draft does not affect the
status of its associated compliance policy clause versions.
From the App Launcher, find and select Process Compliance
Navigator.
From the navigation bar, select Compliance Policy Versions.
Open the required compliance policy version record page and navigate to the Details
tab.
Update the status to Published.
When you publish a regulation version record, the mapped compliance policy clause version
records automatically get published. Learn about the scenarios and rules governing the Transition Criteria for Compliance Policy Record Status.
Save your
changes.
Next, the Compliance Officer associates compliance policy clause versions with business
operations processes.
